International Consulting Day 2019 – Stuttgart
The “Internationaler Beratungstag” (IBT) is an annual consulting day of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Stuttgart Region, which offers the opportunity to meet with experts of different German Chambers of Commerce Abroad. The German Chambers of Commerce Abroad advise, support and represent German companies worldwide that wish to develop or expand their business activities abroad. The AHKs are institutions of German foreign trade promotion. The AHKs represent German business interests in 140 locations in 92 countries. In 30 minutes slots you can book talks with country experts to discuss and exchange about the potential and chances of over 50 different markets and raise specific questions about the foreign business. The experts give their expertise and might like to offer different services for market entry such as general consulting, market research, business partner search, mediation or legal support.

From the 4th – 7th of June 2019 the largest logistic fair in the world was held in Munich with more than 2,374 exhibitors from 63 countries and round about 64,000 visitors from 125 countries. The exhibition takes place every 2 years and is a key event for the global logistics industry. It combines innovative products, technologies and systems with pooled expertise. Top topics of this year’s gathering were the driver shortage, silk road and artificial intelligence.
In the frame of the Saudi Vision 2030 and the vision program National Industrial Development and Logistics Services Program (NIDLP) the logistics sector is receiving a greater attention and importance. In order to have a wider diversity, the Saudi government formed a new entity, the Saudi Logistic HUB, which unites different ministries and authorities which are active in the transportation sector like the Ministry of Transport (MoT), Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), Saudi Ports Authority (MAWANI), Saudi Railway Company (SAR), Saudi Export Development Authority (Saudi Exports), Saudi Customs Saudi Electronic Info Exchange Co. (Tabadul), The Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) and Public Transport Authority.
During the exhibition Mr. Jan Lutz Mueller, Deputy Delegate of the German Industry and Commerce for Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Yemen, visited the different booths from Saudi Arabia and met with Mr. Rami Ibrahim Alnajjar, Senior Advisor for the Deputy Minister of Planning & Information, Saudi Logistics HUB, Mr. Abdulaziz A. Alrayes, Director of Corporate Communications & Marketing, Mr. Alaa Matuq Alsufyani, Strategic Initiative Management Specialist of GACA and representatives of SAGIA. The Saudi participation was coordinated as well by the Saudi Center for International Strategic Development (SCISP), represented by Mr. Adel Ali Alkhodairy, Director of Strategic Partnerships & Business Development.
